I can hear it now, “Christmas in August?! What’s wrong with you?!” I am unapologetically posting a short Christmas post to help beat the summer heat. I am currently listening to one of my favorite Christmas programs that makes me cry every time at the depth and complexity. Here’s the interesting thing – it’s done by Disney. Yes, a very secular organization that likes to do things big and bright and fun ‘accidentally’ made something that is very close to the real Christmas (including Scripture). The Disney Candlelight Processional is one of the most moving programs I’ve had the pleasure to witness, I prefer the version with Phylicia Rashad doing the readings here: Spotify – Disney Candlelight Processional.

So, if you have an hour and need a little Christmas, turn the speakers up and get blessed. I have actually used Disney’s arrangement of a couple songs in the Christmas play I put together (separate post later).
